97 lb rattlesnake?

THEY GROW 'EM BIG IN Tooele County UTAH
This snake was recently found at the old
Wendover Military Base in Wendover Utah Tooele County.

A reminder that these creatures are actually out there and no matter
what you believe, sometimes they should get not only prescriptive
rights to be there but the full right of way!

9 feet, 1 inch - 97 lbs.

No matter what anybody else tells you, kill the snake before you try to do anything else to it!
It's the safest way for you and the snake doesn't care anymore.

DEEP-FRIED RATTLESNAKE

1 medium-sized rattlesnake (3-4 lbs.), cut into steaks
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup cracker crumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (not garlic salt)
1 teaspoon salt
dash pepper

Mix dry ingredients. Whisk milk into beaten egg and use to dip snake steaks.
Then coat them with dry ingredients. Fry, uncovered, in 400 degree oil until brown.

"No matter what anybody else tells you, kill the snake before you try to do anything else to it!" Ok that is the stupidest advice I have ever heard! 90% of all Rattle Snake "attacks" are stupid people trying to kill it and not knowing what they are doing! Just leave it alone and walk away. It won't chase you. It just wants to be left alone. Rattle Snakes are nice they let us know that they are there and it GTFO!

Actually do to our first reaction to finding a Rattle Snake is to kill it, Rattle Snake aren't aggressive and won't attack if you just walk away. Actually Rattle Snakes have begun to evolve so that they not to Rattle! Those that don't broadcast there presence aren't hunted down and killed. The only snake that is know to attack without provocation is the Black Mamba which actually territorial, btw it live in East Africa.

So in don't to anything to and Venomous Snake but away and there won't be a problem.

Note: Nonvenomous Snakes are one of the only animals you can walk up to in the wild and just pick up with no worry at all. I mean you wouldn't walk you to a wild bear and pet it saying ah look at the cute bear? If you don't know what type of snake it is just leave it alone. Problem solved!

Yes I do have bad grammar but I do know what I'm talking about!

Also note that a baby to juvenile Rattle Snake are ten time more deadly then the adults do to the fact that they don't know how to control the amount of venom they release when they bite and the empty their tank when they bite compared to and adult that only use the amount necessary to kill its pray or defend it's self.
(Smaller NOT = Safer)!
